Canon EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM Lens

The new professorial  EF 24-70mm f/4L  IS USM is a high performance, high flexibility, Hybrid IS Lens, The  EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM is the latest addition to Canon's L-series lens line. With this lens Canon expanded the range of standard zoom EF lenses available for both professional and amateur photographers. Intended for reportage and wedding photography, it blends a very popular focal range with a high uality      L-series lens design, ensure consistently sharp professional quality stills in different situations. In addition, a new macro function, allowing it to shoot at a maximum magnification of 0.7x, that enables photographers not to carry  a dedicated macro lens. 

Canon Introduced EF 35mm f/2 IS USM Lens 

The new EF 35mm f/2 USM is designed to deliver outstanding flexibility, allowing photographers to create an image even broader range of scenes and subjects in wide angle. This is the Canon first ever 35mm prime to have optical image Stabilizer technology in a compact and lightweight body to offer outstanding performance. The 35mm focal length also provides the ability to capture everything from close up portraits to wide-angle landscapes making it an ideal companion for travel or general reportage photography. 

The EF 35mm f/2 USM lens is expected to be available in December for an approximate retail price of $849.99.  

Nikon Celebrates Production of 75 million Nikkor lens.

The total production of NIKKOR lenses for interchangeable Lens cameras reaches 75 million. 

At the end of May 2012, total production of NIKKOR lenses for Nikon SLR cameras reached seventy million. Since then Nikon has continued to actively release new NIKKOR lenses. 

NIKKOR lenses are extremely popular with a wide variety of users from beginners to professional photographers. The line up currently consist of more than 80 types of lenses, including zoom lenses, ultra Wide-angle to super telephoto lenses, and specialty fisheye, Micro and PC-E lenses for SLR camera as well as 1 NIKKOR lenses for NIKON 1 cameras.
